PC Mall says goodbye

PANAMA CITY – The Panama City Mall may not be able to afford to reopen. Mall management announced it will stay “closed for the foreseeable future,” citing the costs to rebuild after Hurricane Michael far exceeds the repaired value of the mall, which opened 42 years ago. A timeline for “building demolition is not yet determined,” according to a press release. A handful of businesses will stay open, the release stated.
