Cyber sex sting nets eight arrests in Bay county

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – An online escort sting landed eight people in a Bay County jail. Deputies of the Bay County Special Investigations Unit say undercover agents set up dates with women at an online site, and when they arrive at the hotel room they are arrested for solicitation, according to reports. Over the course of two days, the sheriff’s office arrested three escorts and five men. Charges are pending, and police say some of the cases may be related to a sex trafficking ring.
