More rain than normal is putting a damper on Hurricane Michael cleanup

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – More rain than normal is putting a damper on Hurricane Michael cleanup. PC officials said heavy rains are adding to the Hurricane Michael debris that still lines many streets. Parts of Northwest Florida have seen close to 35 inches of rain since the beginning of October, compated to the typical 12 to 13 inches for this time of year. The Bay County Public works department says they are checking drains and completing storm water projects trying to disperse the water.
