Suspect in 2017 Panama City Beach shootout learns his fate

PANAMA CITY – A Georgia man accused in a Panama City Beach shootout, in which he says he was defending himself, has been sentenced. Damarcus Ingram, 22, who was initially scheduled to appear in court on a stand your ground defense, accepted a plea deal Wednesday in connection to the April 2017 incident near the Ocean Towers, on Front Beach Road, in which three people were shot. He was sentenced to time served and felony probation, as reported at NewsHerald.com.
