Sun-seekers flock to Bay County

PANAMA CITY BEACH – Newly released numbers show sun-seekers continued to flock to the state – Bay County included. During March and April of 2018 bed tax figures have risen 15 percent for both months combined in Panama City Beach, following the state’s upward trend, local officials said Wednesday. They credit the increase largely to various events that attract visitors to the destination, including the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, the inaugural SandJam and an April 1 Easter holiday, the News Herald reports.
