Trial delayed for PC mother facing first-degree murder in sons death

PANAMA CITY – The trial for a PC mother facing first-degree murder in the death of her three year old son has been delayed. Egypt Moneek Robinson was in court Monday to ask that the trial be pushed back to October. She was originally scheduled to go on trial in July for killing the toddler, and dumping his body in a swamp behind her Callaway home. She will be back in court April 2 for a pretrial, and jury selection should start on Oct. 22, the News Herald reported.
