Questions surrounding future of City Manager answered at special meeting

Panama City, Fla. – Questions surrounding the possible resignation and or termination of City Manager Jeff Brown were answered, Thursday. The Panama City Commission unanimously voted to fire Brown at a special called meeting Thursday afternoon, citing Brown was looking for other jobs and he needed to focus on his family. Assistant City Manager Jared Jones is now the interim city manager. The commission will begin finding a permanent replacement at their February meeting.
