Whistleblower suing Panama City Beach for “unlawful” practices

PANAMA CITY – Panama City Beach is being sued for violation of Florida whistleblower protection laws. A former clerk filed a lawsuit Jan. 1 against the City, claiming she was pressured to resign after questioning what she considered “unlawful” procedures for public records requests, court records stated. The City Manager, Mayor, and a Councilman are named in the suit.
